Hey guys i have been playing guitar for 3 years now and i have finaly got into a serious band

our style is a mix between mayhem sodom and bathory

so i would like some sujestions on what could be the right guitar for me
im thinking ESP ranging from 400 to 1000 euros

i like my 24 frets and H H set up with floydrose bridge altho we play with those influences we always play in standard E so tunning is not a problem

what do you guys think?

Sounds pretty sweet to me! cool.gif

I've always liked the Double Cut - 24 fretboard, for playing, but just note it does throw off the balance on some guitars.
ESP sounds sweet so long your playing dirty. tongue.gif

How about a Music man, or super stat, G&L invader would work nicely too. All can be had with HH set up, and hot pups for all the crunch you could ever want..

ya i was thinkin on Vs but im open to all shapes

send me some pictures and or links so i can check them out

the sound were trying to achieve is more black metalish loads of evil sounding chords so i need to hear all note in a 3 note powerchord clearly because most melodies rely on mutated power chords

Here are some examples that would suit your well:

http://www.thomann.de/de/bc_rich_nj_jrv_deluxe.htm
http://www.thomann.de/de/esp_ltd_v401dx.htm
http://www.thomann.de/de/jackson_rr24m_rhoads_bk_w.htm
http://www.thomann.de/de/schecter_atx_v_1_...ackjack_abs.htm

All those guitars have active pickups (EMGs or Seymour Duncan Blackouts). Active pickups are awesome for definiton and clarity under high gain and excell at Metal music styles!!!
Also all these guitars have an ORIGINAL Floyd Rose tremolo on them which absolutely essential if you want to use your tremolo for whammy action without messing up the tuning of your guitar...

Which one you like best is up to you, I can recommend you to take a trip to a big music store and try some guitars to see which feels and sounds best

I think you should visit a big music store and try out some guitars. You already mentioned ESP as preference. Try some ESP guitars in the store (in your price range) and see if you like the feel of them and most important - the sound! Zakk gave you nice suggestions too - generally ones with active pickups should give you hot output with definition which is needed in high gain gig. But overall you must personally like the sound and feel of the instrument.
