What Happen With The Tabs? Options

Dear instructors and everyone else.

It has been over a half year, since I last was member, of this amazing site, becuase I have been in Afghanistan.
Now I am a member again, but things has change. I have seen a lot of lessons, where there was no tabs, but instead a guitar fretboard, showing what to play.

It is nice for people who don't know tabs, but I think it's very frustrating because I am used to look at the tabs and the lessons now takes more time for me to leran. It would be very nice if you guys took the tabs back, or have both things, under same lesson.

I hope you guys, not will be offended by this post, because you guys are doing a GREAT good job!

It might be the lesson covers that you are viewing. If so, the explanation is that they can't give tabs for the actual song covers because of copyright laws. But I know what you mean, cuz I love tabs as well.

You have the answer on the tabs (not available for cover tunes). I assume you were doing a tour over in Afghanistan so I would like to offer you a sincere thank you for your service

Hi C.Christensen,

Nothing much has changed here regarding tabs. New thing is that GMC features famous song lessons too and those lessons don't have actual tabs rather explanations on how to play those songs are included in the videos.

ALL other lessons have tabs. If you find a normal (non famous lesson) that doesn't have tab please report it here.

Learning those famous songs via instructions in the videos will have benefits of developing ear more too so I think its actually a good drill to try learning song by listening/watching rather reading tab.
