Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi there! Europe (again) solo this time, true classic. Original lesson by Krisztian Lovrek can be found here:
More than meets the eye

My take:

Played on/through: Charvel guitar (first I wanted to test my new neck pickup but I got better pitch harmonics on bridge so..), SansAmp gt2, rebote delay, fraverb, condor cab sim.

Cheers!
Emir B.

great playing, clean, articulate,

The tone is a bit harsh imo, you should make it a bit more round.

The tapping is excellent!

nice!

i really like this choice again dude smile.gif
It's a very useful to learn solo indeed.

Agreed with Daniel Again, and there are minor timing issues compared to the original.
Try to play the melodic lines with more 'legato-feel'.
Your vibrato is almost perfect on certain notes smile.gif

GOOD !

Love this solo so much smile.gif

Just a few things to add to the above:

There is a bend at 0:12, should be a bit higher. Other than that, it's pretty good. I would widen the vibratos a bit.
