Hi,

I just joined this forum and already have one question.

I was checking out one lesson of one song and was little bit suprised that I could not find any tabs. In the video there was fretboard but I was missing for tabs (printable or guitar pro etc.). Aren't there any anywhere?

Thanks!

Lessons of famous songs don't have any tabs due to copyright stuff...

Famous song lessons have detailed spoken instructions instead of tabs. It's not that hard to learn a song that way and it will be a great ear training practice as well.

Ok, thanks! I have GuitarPro and I have used to learn using it. So, my learning method is also quite visual because I use to look those tabs. At some points I have been missing another kind of visual tip namely a real player and how fingers goes etc.. Maybe I try to connect these.

I think learning cover songs by ear is a great exercise. But also learning them from GMC can increase your vocabulary really fast

I agree. Even though my working language is English I guess I need some practice smile.gif.. And often tabs are just full of mistakes and I get frustrated.

I would say that connecting spoken explanations and slow videos with some tabs will get you best results in the beginning. I also must note that it can often be better for the ear that you don't use tabs that often.
