If the band members don't want to accept your style of playing and hate things you play - leave. Plenty of bands out there

You should try to start your own band and find members who would like to play styles and things you want. If you start your band you will also get a clearer voice in the band and the "leader" role. Band is a team united with a clear "vision of future" usually coming from the founding members/leader. If you don't share the same vision (in this case style of music) then it may be a problem. Of course that is ultimately up to you and depends what are your motives and aspirations as a musician. If you can adapt and make a compromise that is the best solution.
