This song (Dirty Magic).. is one of my favourites..

And I saw this video quite a while ago.. but forgot I had..
then I got flu..

and couldn't sleep
so I picked up my guitar..
and worked this song out..

but I looked today and it seems I hit many of the same notes/chords.. (same place at least on the fretboard..) .. so I think I subconsciously remembered the positions lol..

anyway what do u guys think?

Also, out of curiosity: what "Level" would the song be on GMC?

Pierre

Great song, its off my favorite Offspring album, Ignition. I remember I got that album when I was a kid, before they became a huge sensation. I actually got it because it was the only non rap or pop music CD at this local record shop, I didn't even know who they were at the time biggrin.gif

I"d go 3/4 too. Very well done! Offspring are a great punk/pop band. They manage to be punk and still retain melody. Although, they are not going to win over any U.K. Subs fans anytime soon, I really think they strike a good balance.

Very cool song choice. I really like them and I think they have a perfect balance of being punk and melodic&catchy.
This is an interesting song. I'd give it rating of 3 at GMC.

Slayer and Offspring were my first heavier bands ever, back in grade school. Nice choice! smile.gif
