hey guys,
last week i was laying guitar with my H&K switchblade amp, suddenly the sound stopped. the lights are still shining but i cant hear anything! is it possible that it was only a blown fuse?
what do you think could be broken there?

is it possible to change a fuse by myself?

It could be a blown fuse. Fuses are dirt cheap so I would change it and see what happens. You should see where the fuse is located, on some amps the fuse can easily be accessed without taking the chassis out, on other amps its located internally. If yours is located internally you can change it yourself, but you must exercise extreme caution poking around inside an amp, some capacitors inside an amp have enough voltage to zap your ass dead. You should unplug your amp and let it sit for a day before you start poking around inside it. If you don't touch anything other than the fuse you should be fine.

Could be the fuse, I would check it out. Unplug the amp from the outlet, wait for it to get empty, pull out the fuse, buy another one, and switch it. Shouldn't be hard at all. Than if it doesn't work, you take it to a tech.
