Hello, folks!

My Name is Marcus. I'm playing my guitar(s) for quite some time now, but since there are some techniques and theories I wasn't able to manage yet, I hope to improve my skills with the help of GMC. Especially Metallica-like soloing drives me crazy sometimes... I am not a completely unexperienced guitar player, but still... some techniques are just insane and I wonder how you guys were able to learn them. Now that I'm here, I might find an answer smile.gif

I appreciate the opportunity to go through the huge amount of lessons and workshops, learning the ways of the force and being part of that great community.

So far, greetings from Germany
Marcus

Welcome to GMC Marcus! I'm Todd and I teach the Saturday Video Chat lesson every weekend at 22 GMT. We focus on Alternate Picking and lead guitar techniques. We have a two hour lesson/jam every Sat. Please do stop by and join us! For all the German students we call it "MIDNIGHT METAL MADNESS" as my German students tell me it's quite late in Germany when we get together.

In the mean time, check out my lesson thread with notes for all 41 lessons we have done so far. Practice!

Thanks for the invitation, but since my weekends are quite busy, I'm not sure if I'm able to participate - anyway, if it should be possible, I will. Thanks.
