There are various way we can pick on the guitar. First check out Chowy's new lesson, "Chowy's Hot Licks: Pentatonic Fusion", and the add a reply to today's topic.

There are many different ways to pick on the guitar, telling mine "you're ugly I'm not going to play you" being my favorite. ph34r.gif What's your favorite technique when picking?

hahahah love the nose picking option in the poll laugh.gif

Too bad I can't utilize that technique on stage smile.gif))

I would say that finger picking that utilizes alternate picking philosophy is my favorite technique when picking.

But why?? You could nose pick when you play a tune in E that just requires you to play on the top E string...! Have you ever thought of that?

I voted economy because I'm cheap !!! Haha laugh.gif

I like it because it's fun and feels satisfying and pleasing to execute. I still do love and use and abuse alternate as well !

Kris, is this going towards our psychological profile as well ? unsure.gif

(Obviously I couldn't be truthful and vote for 'nose'.....) ph34r.gif
