this is my pattern- starting at the a note-third string 14 th fret - in the key of e minor -b 12 th fret - c 13 th - d 15 th - e 12th fret 1 st string
f# 14 th fret and the g 15 th then i descend. this particular pattern is 16th triplets and i have worked out a few 16 ths around these notes as well and i start the pattern with an upstroke , play through it a few rounds and the switch to a down-stroke so that i am practicing inside and outside picking
the problem is sometimes i can play these at 180 bpm , 4 notes per beat but the majority of the time , i am struglling with these at
110 bpm four notes per click
i am so frustrated that sometimes i seem to be shredding while most of the time i can not
is this common among any others and if so ,
do you have any ideas that might help me get through it
if I am struggling at 110 , will increasing at 1 bpm and geting perfection be better than forcing sloppy playing but increasing more quickly and the slowing down to perfection yeild better results
