> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

I like the tone, very in the style. Your palm muting and overall execution is really good.

My only complaint is tempo, it can be tighter. Maybe less distortion would help get a more percussive sound.

Very nice take. My suggestion is to keep attention on timing, especially around 0:18, where that gallop figure doesn't fit well with the backing. Vibratos through the end of the take sound a little sharp to me.

Very nice palm muting - tight and chuggy !! smile.gif Just a little in front of the beat in places but apart from that, very good !
