> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi ! This is a fairly good take but there are some issues which I'd like you to look at smile.gif

I'd like you to use the same fingers as I do in the lesson, that way your little finger gets used.. also, I never use my first finger for classical vibrato as I've discovered that it isn't very effective at producing classical vibrato (mainly because the other fingers can't help add strength)
The other thing to look at is try to use the fingers that are behind the finger that is playing to strengthen your finger. For example, pretend that your are playing a note with your 3rd finger... put your 1st & 2nd finger on the string behind your 3rd fingers and use them all to stabilise and add strength. That way you will find you can get more power and effect. If you need any help with it then please feel free to ask me anytime.

Your timing was good and the melody was all correct, so apart from the points that need correcting, it was a good take smile.gif

Sounds good, tone is good and timing, but vibrato isn't. You have to have circular/rotating motion out of the elbow. Try very very slowly.
