I need help.. blink.gif
I want to do a simple mod in my strat ( if possible ) , its a Fender Strat Classic Player 60's ( mex. ), What I would like to do is make the tone work on the 5th ( bridge position ).. Is this possible just by switching some Wiring from one place to the other and soldering it ? If so Could somebody get me some squematics on something like the way that the guitar is wired now and the way it sould be wired to achieve this ??

Its really not a difficult thing to do and is a common mod that lots of people do to their strats. I did it to one of mine. It pretty much does just consist of switching a wire from one spot to another. If you google for strat wiring diagrams you should be able to find a bunch of them.

This makes all the difference in the world to have bridge bickup connected to tonecontrol. My 2010 USA Strat is wired like this. If I have tone on 10 then I have unusable icepicky horrible tone, but if I roll the tone back to 6 or 7 then i have best tone i´ve ever heard. smile.gif

Sounds great!

I agree with Gilmore....without this mod, I never use a bridge pickup (unless I have an overdrive pedal that has a really mellow tone to offset the bite).
