Is there a way to save a lick to my computer? after a day or so I have the tab but kinda forget what it sounded like origionally.

I think he was asking about the lessons, not the licks of the day! In that case - no - you can't save it to your computer!

There is no "lick of the day" section. What he is saying is that all of the licks are contained within the various lessons (they are simply pulled out in a small piece for the lick of the day). The licks in context are far more useful. The Kirk Hammet style licks of the day would most likely be in the Kirk Hammet lessons, ect...
