There are many different inspirations to writing a blues tune. First check out Mate's new lesson, "Blues Power #2", and then post a reply to today's topic.

What inspires you to write a blues song/ lick/or riff?

Your girlfriend left you
You have an extra nipple
You're out of money
You're hungry
You're Kristofer Dahl

Can you think of any other reason to be inspired...in a bluesy way?

I got the "need a new pair of shoes, damn I wish the sun would come one of these days, I need more sleep, why can't my favorite bands come to this city, why haven't I won the lottery, I hate hangovers, I miss driving cars, vacations are too short, the waters to cold when you first turn it on in the shower, the trains crowded blues". smile.gif
