Hello GMC!!

How have you all been? smile.gif It seems like forever since I've been here...

Things have been a bit crazy for me the last few months. I have been traveling a lot for work not to mention the new schedule we have which is not my favourite to say the least. My new puppy is 8 months old now and has been keeping me pretty busy and I've had some family matters I had to deal with. Life just likes to happen tongue.gif

One other major thing that happened is I had the LASIK eye surgery!! I went from being a -7 in both eyes, (which if you didn't know is very very poor. Things basically had to be about 2 feet from my face before I could see it LOL!!) to very nearly 20/20 in less than 24 hrs. It was CRAZY!! I have had glasses for pretty much my entire life... 27 yrs to be exact as I got them when I was 6 or 7. And now I can see without them... amazing what technology can do. I'm still adjusting... grabbing for my glasses in the morning, I feel like they are still on my face sometimes so I'm trying to push them up, stuff like that. It's a little surreal but I am very very happy. I can actually see the alarm clock now laugh.gif I can wear sunglasses, without having to wear my contacts, and I've gone a little nuts with the sunglass shopping too cool.gif My boyfriend just shakes his head as I seem to come home with a new pair every other day LOL!! It's been about a week and a half since my surgery and I've had no issues other than dry eyes. It's a whole new world out there ha ha ha!!

But things have slowed down some, I'm getting back into a routine, so I'm hoping to be around here a bit more. Not to mention get back on track with my private lessons with Adrian... not that I ever was really on track LOL!!

Hope to catch up with you all smile.gif

Welcome back rok! I can imagine what a difference it makes not having to wear glasses anymore. Since I switch between glasses and contacts, I also get confused sometimes when I don't feel the glasses on my nose laugh.gif

Thanks everyone for the kind words smile.gif It's great to be back!!

Todd my new guys name is Jax (registered name is Knatchbull's Son of Anarchy... if ya couldn't tell I'm a bit of a fan of the show wink.gif tongue.gif ) He's a Bullmastiff and here is a photo

Attached Image

Photo is from about 3 months ago... he's only about 5 months and 60 lbs here biggrin.gif That's his older brother Tyson in the photo with us. That is usually what happens if I get on the couch at all. One thing about Bullmastiff's is regardless of how big they get they still seem to think they can get in your lap laugh.gif I have some newer shots but haven't downloaded the camera yet. I'll post some later if you like.

And Thank You for the invite to video chat on Saturdays. I'll pop by when I can. I work every other weekend so I might not make many sad.gif
