KK Downing is leaving Judas Priest

Press release April 20
http://judaspriest.com/news/fullstory.asp?...F0-6A11B4F9D835

Among a few bands that built the very foundation of my interest in music during the 80’s. A bit sad to realize nothing lasts forever.

Yes, it's incredibly sad news. They wouldn't have come to the decision lightly. I personally wouldn't want to see them without K.K. as he's always been an iconic part of Priest, with the hair and Flying V. I feel sorry for the replacement as he's got a very difficult task filling his shoes.

Yeah, the timing is odd. Hope he's all well.

I feel kind of put off too as I was available. Maybe because I only know their older songs wink.gif

I have heard he is suffering from some medical issues. Sad to see but I don't hold it against him, the man has made one of the largest contributions in Metal, Wish him the best here on out.
