> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Back after a long break. This lesson was staring to be a pain so I really want to pass it. It's my third try (not second as I typed in the title and had to edit now). I am not giving up. Please be as objective as you were on my previous failures smile.gif

So the lesson is this: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...cks-101-lesson/

Here was my second one try: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...7&hl=Rhoads

Ibanez S 470 DXQM
EMU 0404 USB
Logitech quickcam C200 with another sound card for audio input.
I connected the headphones output of the EMU to the line in of the other sound card.

The video seems a bit ahead of the audio even though.. hope that is not a problem.

Good take Rhoads smile.gif The timing in places was a bit out but I put that down to pressure and you really wanting to pass this take.. if you were more relaxed I think the timing would flow a bit better. Technically speaking you pretty much had it covered.. a couple of bends were a little 'off' but nothing major. All in all, good effort smile.gif

Well done mate. I think you played it very good, and except some timing issues, and slight problems with bending, I don't see that much problems.

I like the way you're playing because it shows that you're enjoying it. You have the technique to play all this kind of stuff. The only thing I suggest is to use your ears more to fix these problems over your bends/vibrato.
