Hey guys!

hopefully enough, nobody will need this too often but, here is a new bio-mechanics video quick tip showing a simple exercise which is good for people who's hands have been weakened while recovering from injuries.

If you want to boost your stamina you can combine it with the one using the rolling weights (posted in March)

It is best for those who have been damaged so bad, that they can't even use a Gripmaster (the nifty finger strength developing gadget)

Here it is:

let me know if you find it useful!

I'm glad that a few people here constantly point important areas like this out. It's all too easy to injure your hands. Some great advice here.

Thanks for the info., Cosmin!

I've been through (I guess you could say relatively minor) injuries, and know the lack of motivation, frustration that follows. Everybody should listen to your advice and Todd's advice on the topic. Unfortunately, many don't realise the danger until it's too late.

These videos and notes should be gathered under a clear place, it's too easy to overlook this (the 'Guitar and Injury' Wiki section doesn't have links to these).

Great video.. never would have thought a simple household object could help in that way smile.gif I've done your 'weight on a rope' one a few times and it really works the forearms ! tongue.gif

The trouble is finding the right day to do it.. I've got to find a time when I'm not doing something else which demands loads of arm use.. so in between guitar, weights, using the computer and Karate my arms don't get much rest which is SOOOO annoying ! mad.gif

But the exercise is great and I definitely reccomend it ! smile.gif
