Nice man - it's a legendary pedal. I would highly recommend saving up for a Keeley mod, which runs around $60 or so if I recall. It makes the pedal more transparent and you won't lose as much bass when the pedal is engaged. It just makes it a better pedal, someone else can explain the correct details biggrin.gif

Congrats man! It's a great pedal! I don't have one but I used it many times and I love it for guitar solos. smile.gif I used it to add drive and sustain to the amp's distortion.

Congratz again, I was hoping for a demo? smile.gif

Just a note about people modding their stomp pedals... Most pedals will drink up the juice and life out of your sound so there are some by-pass or mods available to get around this. This is great, you just need to know what is a good mod or not, do-it-yourself kit or have it professionally installed for you, however this would also break any warranty on the device, if you have one.

Killer choice! That pedal is the stuff of legend. Hard to find a better choice for lead playing especially. Smooth gain and loads of it. There are several mods/versions of this pedal and each has it's own unique properties. Here is a vid showing 3 Tube Screamer Variants.

It's an overdrive effect pedal, designed to simulate tube amp overdrive:

congrats on the TS!

My TS-9 was my first real stompbox and I still have it today. Its one of those "never sell" pedals. I had mine modded by Robert Keeley.
