What Delay Pedal Do You Have? |

We all know that delays are something that is pretty cool to use when adding space, and they are often better choice over a reverb, because they create space effect without muddying up the sound, specially in band situation.
I had several delays throughout the years: Boss DD3, Boss DD20, EHX Memory Man with Hazarai, and now I'm currently using Malekko Echo 300B and Nova System delays. In between all of those, I've found that simplicity and nice sound is most important. Boss DD3 was simple and cool, Boss DD20 had awesome loop option, EHXMMH was not that great, Malekko is great for some slap back stuff, and TC Electronic excellent for anything. I've been using a Vox Time Machine for a couple years now and I'm happy

I use a line6 M13 - has a very good versatility - in fact delays are probably the pedals strongest side as it has all the classic line6 stuff.

I'm very sorry I sold that little fella, but "my eyes were hungry" Only reason why I think Nova Delay or TimeFactor are better is because they have tap tempo option, which is a nice option to have for a whole set of different songs. For studio use, there is software or more serious devices, for home use, there is software again, so sound quality don't matter that much IMO. I always wanted to get a delay pedal for my setup. It a bit unorthodox effect to be used on bass but I heard MXR Carbon copy works great. I also heard that it is a bit cold and darker sounding pedal so that may be why it works for bass nicely?

I had the same delay pedal for, how many years now, 15-20? An Ibanez DE 7, has both delay and echo, it's pink, and sounds awesome. Never thought I could trade up, it's a keeper.

Ibanez Ad9 from the 80's,, sound's so sweet and amazing. I also have from 1984 an original Chorus and Tube Screamer in mint condiition
