Hello All,

Just signed up last night. 41 yrs old, been playing since I was 16. I have always learned songs from tab and have a very small understanding of theory. I cannot improvise to save my life. Been playing with a group of people and realized how limited I am and decided to put the time in to learn theory and technique that I never did.

I listen to Metal, Old School Punk, Rockabilly, Prog Rock, anything with a guitar and a good beat really.

Guitar is a Epiphone Les Paul Custom (2001 Korea). Sound is through a Digitech RP255.

Looking forward to digging in to some of these lessons (starting with Pentatonic lessons) and posting my first REC video.

Thanks,
Brian S.

Hello and Welcome! Great to see another digitech RP series user on GMC biggrin.gif I have never actually used the 250, but I used the 150 for practicing for about three years and loved it. Now I currrently use the 500, and its awesome as well! What finish is your Epi custom? (I always wanted one in Antique Ivory) cool.gif Hope you enjoy your time at GMC and I'll be watching for your first REC take! biggrin.gif

Welcome aboard man! smile.gif If you have any questions regarding lessons, let me know.

I advise you check out my Pentatonic Workshop Series Level 1. It's a very good lesson for learning pentatonic scale.

If you need a lesson plan, let me know as well! smile.gif

I think my work might have a problem if I join your chat session on Thursday. It looks like it is at 10:30 AM my time :-)

Favorite Players, that changes but right now I would include: Hendrix, Satriani, Slash, Mike Ness, and Jay Mascis.
