> IS THAT YOUR MAMA?

Nope didn't think so either. We all know parents don't get this.

I can show you how to be the virtuoso your folks could only dream about, but I first need your help:

* Pm me and I will show you where to start. I am online every day and I will help you out directly!

* Join my mentoring program. I will customize your learning experience in a way you haven't experienced before. We will have regular contact so that you can remain inspired every day and eventually reach a new level.

* Join my next video chat! GMC startpage holds a video chat schedule. We always cover a lot of ground and have fun. Remember that you don't need any previous knowledge, and you can be passive in the chat.

* Jam with me - you will find active collabs here.

* Post a topic on this board, guitar related or not - doesn't matter! You will find that chatting with instructors boosts your motivation to practice.

* You haven't missed my latest video lessons, have you?

* Oh and did you know that to become a killer guitarist you just need to focus on one thing? Everything
else is secondary. Pm me and I will explain.

OK I'll try sharing song sas often as I can on this thread biggrin.gif

I am a really big fan of songs with good lyrics, about the bad things in life, like broken relationships, betrayal etc. etc.

So, I'd share some songs on this theme. smile.gif

This one is In My Darkest Hour, by Megadeth. The main riff is just classic, good solos, and most importantly, AWESOME LYRICS biggrin.gif

Mustaine's voice is different and unique, some like it, some don't. But I really urge you guys to focus on the lyrics. Its what I want to say to a girl...well, that's another story. But this is one song I wish I had written, for a stupid girl who couldn't realize anything that was right. mad.gif

Now, LISTEN biggrin.gif And post your views smile.gif

This is really pretty. I like the way some of the singers sing the notes straight while some of the other singers harmonizing with them sing with vibrato at the same time, it's a really cool effect!

Well, it's a good thing that you can vibrate with the music and lyrics and you feel they represent what you are feeling Yash smile.gif I am not a Megadeth fan, but hey, gotta give them credits for being who they are and managing to become such a great influence to so many folks!

All Right, for today's ballad, I give you Bullet For My Valentine. This song is excellent. Once again, focus on the lyrics. smile.gif

And its got a HUGE chorus, just big sounding biggrin.gif The only thing you can ask for in this song is a nice, emotional solo biggrin.gif which I think is missing huh.gif

Wow biggrin.gif Thanks for sharing two great songs guys biggrin.gif

Cosmin, you united me with one of the first real 'Metal' songs I ever heard. It was WWE music that got me into really digging music when I was around 13, and Motorhead and Alter Bridge had a great hand in making me a Metalhead. Now, time to dig more into Alter Bridge and Power metal. biggrin.gif

Here's today's ballad, by Three Days Grace. Its called Last To Know. Listen to the lyrics closely and you might feel something wink.gif Really love the acoustic piano and guitar and then the build up to a nice finsh

You love three days grace. Try this one. The vocalist sounds similar to Gontier. But, it just doesn't sound as powerful as good ol' Three Days Grace. My brother digs this band a lot. Oh, once again, focus on lyrics wink.gif
