> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi there!
Original Lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...nner-solo-in-d/

This is my first post in the REC section.
I recorded this just with the camera, so the quality of the sound is not that great.
I think between 0:16-0:18 I made a mistake i missed a note in the tapping section of the solo.
Gear: Ibanez rg350ex, Korg AX3000g and a fender frontman.

If somebody can give me a link or something related to recording I'll be thankful. biggrin.gif

Hey Maris.. it was a good take. The open string lick and tapping lick weren't perfect but the phrasing, bending and timing of the overall lesson was really good so thumbs up from me.

By the way, I noticed that you played the descending picking pattern with your first 3 fingers.. maybe try spending some time working on using your pinky. Maybe pick a lesson that uses your little finger next ? smile.gif

I agree to Ben's points, my compatriot little friend smile.gif I like what you did biggrin.gif work on the vibrato a little more to widen and round it up! As for the stuff where you missed a note or played a little unclear - with time and some more practice, I'm sure you'll get them just perfect wink.gif can't wait to see your next REC take biggrin.gif
