It looks cool and it's pretty easy to do actually. All you have to do is keep the camera on the tripod and don't movie it at all.
Record one video/performance and then the second. Keep in mind that you don't want to overlap two subjects when shooting - so keep a little distance. Once you have two videos shot from the same angle - edit them in the video editing software by cropping in the middle or where it's suitable (you can use masking if you don't want a straight line separating two takes). Keep both videos on max exposition and they should blend nicely like they did in this video.
