Well, I was looking over at gmc to start a virtual band but the topic was of 2009 so Im giving it

We can make our own stuff to play.

If somebody of the instructors would want to help us out with it, please reply wink.gif
we need :

I can play guitar so we are looking for 2 other guitarists ( maiden style ) A drummer, A bass player, some vocals
and if it is possible , some keys.

I'd like to try with some vocals.

I might not have the most raw and masculine voice, but I'll give it a try if you want.

If we are talkin something like Maiden, I have to say I really like "Brave new world" and "A matter of life and death"

(I got exams i 2 weeks, so I'll be ready after that)

I'm just checking out Temporal Narcosis right now. It would be cool to get's some vocals there, and it would be a nice challenge for me.

I really don't have alot of vocal recordings, but you can all have the one I attach here.

It is a kind of medieval balad, that my friend wrote some lyrics for and I wrote the melody.
The vocals need some more energy, so the listener do not fall asleep, I think. Also I want some female vocals in the chorus.
At least you can use it to hear my english, my 1st., 2nd. and 3rd voices, and if I'm able to sing in tune.

Drums are just midi, and you can hear my crappy keyboard too.

Do not laugh at my guitar solo(s) or bass playing!!!

I'm looking forward to join in on some musical virtual fun.

Hey man,

It'd be awesome to see you making vocals for our band project smile.gif (Project: Quadrium) Currently Christian(Gitarrero) made the vocals for Temporal Narcosis. We will just make some syncing. But our second song Ascension Paradox is almost finished except vocals. And lyrics are ready also. If you interested we'd be appreciated smile.gif

To me Electrical Judas sounds more like a polka/party band. We could do some polka off course.

I'm not religious, but if we want a biblical reference I'd say: JUDAS BETRAYED
(as I believe Judas has been betrayed by history)

I was also thinking LD50 (Lethal dose 50%) which is an amount of toxin or radiation that kills 50% of subjects and probably makes the rest really sick. But the name is already in use, and maybe we won't have a lot of listeners if 50% dies after each show/song biggrin.gif
So maybe AD50 for an addictive dose, which makes 50% of listeners addicted and the rest just wanna throw some hands in the air and wave them like they just dont care.

Then I just looked at medieval torture instruments like the Iron Maiden. I found the Scavengers daughter, which is off course also the name of a band. All the cool names are taken mad.gif

Suggestions:

Electrical Judas
Judas Betrayed
AD50 (clinically tested)
Wickerman or Nomad (Iron Maiden references)

Me and some of my friends would call members of the opposite gender who weren't particularly attractive LD50. But the LD stood for something else entirely. The "L" stood for "limp" and the the "D" stood for a word that started with the letter "D" and rhymed with the word "thick." Yes, its terrible. I denounce and reject myself biggrin.gif

I could also try to be the third guitarist, but Strelka knows also how to play other important instruments, and I have no such knowledge, so He would be a better choice;)

Since my two Project Quadrium bandmates are active in here, I'd also like to participate smile.gif
I'd be available for guitar, bass and vocals. I think it would be wise not to narrow it down to 3 guitar players...in our project quadrium, we all record some riffs and then put the ones together that fit well. Could be the way to go here too!
