Do you guys like punk music??? It's not a big challenge to play punk songs in guitar but I use to find some of the greatest songs in punk music? What is your favourite band?

I also like The Offspring and Green Day biggrin.gif I used to be a hardcore fan when I was a kid..Green Day was my first encounter EVER with the idea of a rock band back in '95 smile.gif i can remember sitting in a comfy armchair back in my grandma's old apartment ...we just installed cable TV...MTV was cool back then...Green Day's 'Basket Case' came on and I knew that that moment ignited something magic inside me..The moment when in the video Billy Joe's guitar gets plugged...the rest is history biggrin.gif

I still have all their Cds biggrin.gif

The first concert I ever went to was Green day, when Insomniac came out. I was 12.
Someone was smoking marijuana and I thought they had shit their pants tongue.gif Ahh memories...

I like punk with a bit of humour in it.

Great stuff guys... some punk history from my country... this is the first Argentinian and Latinoamerican punk rock band... so this song is like the Argentinian "blitzkrieg bop"

and this is another important band and song in local punk... you'll see that there is a big Ramones school here...

I was way in to punk before I got in to Metal. I started out playing Sex Pistols covers in a punk band actually. Then found Suicidal Tendencies, COC etc. Sort of drifted towards heavy.

Green Day is the band that got me hooked on punk and rock music with their album Dookie. I also love The Offspring, Bad Religion and Sum 41, all of which are great live bands as well.
I also love NoFX and Anti-Flag plus a couple of german punk bands. One of the best (and a really underrated band) is ZSK. These guys had great lyrics, too bad they broke up:
