...for my dwarf hamster Homer, who died last week at the age of 2,5 years, which is longer than most of these cute little fellas live. He was healthy and vivid until his last day, so I'm actually glad he died quickly and supposedly in his sleep.
I felt like composing a little tune for him, check it out! It's just a simple chord progression with some improvising over it...I didn't actually mix that much, hope you enjoy it anyway!

Christian

Thanks for your kind words, guys!

Actually, Homer was 2,5 years old, and these little guys are supposed to get 1,5 or 2 years old at maximum...the Dwarf Hamster I had before died when she was 1,5, so for one year now I often thought: "well, Homer's time will come soon..." Of course I am sad and I will miss him, but what makes me feel good is that a couple of hours before he died he was still running around, eating some chocolate and cheese and licking yoghurt from a spoon (the little video sequence on youtube was actually shot hours before he died), so I know he had a great life and felt really good until his last breath.
About the guitar tone, as usual I used my Behringer V-Amp 3 with different presets I programmed myself, then I connected it via USB to my Laptop and used energyXT software to record guitars and bass and program the drums, as well.

Christian, so sorry to hear about Homer... I'll never forget his legendary appearance in the Big Collab video !! smile.gif

I have to say that you did some really great note choices in that piece, a good sense of melody ! smile.gif
