Hey guys! I remember that when I was a Beginner / Intermediate player I used to learn songs but when it was time to learn the solo I wasn't ready to play it well.

Is this happening to you with any song? What solo would you like to learn? What is the technique or lick that makes it difficult?

I posted this a while ago.

I guess it's just to fast for me, and I'm not sure how much I need to do pull-offs or alternate picking

Great Solo! It has a great balance between neoclassical, shredding and rocker style (like Zakk Wylde). This solo is tricky to play and even more to play it clean since there are many cross strings. As you said the difficulty here appears because of the speed.. so you have to start working slowly with every lick. The last ones are very Zakk Wyldish so you can look for some lessons here to find more exercises in this style. But you have to be patient! You chose a very difficult solo!

I'm usually more scared about the possibility of a bad performance due to strong emotions on stage, other than that, I never get scared of stuff - I just take things slowly and try to let them into my mind and fingers in the most possible natural way.
