Guys, I guess I promised a few shots and some audio and a nice story! Well, my friends, it really seems that this here concert which took place last weekend, ended up as being our most wonderful Mozart Rocks! experience! About 5000 people in the public square in the northern city of Bistritza, a heavy rain followed by a rainbow just when the concert started lights, energy, feeling... Everything fell into place!
Here's Satriani's 'One Big Rush' - without the orchestra though Mozart Rocks! team - Joe Satriani - One Big Rush Mozart Rocks! 2011 Pics Since it went this good, we were invited to perform in Kiev in September, so I'm struggling hard to execute Vivaldi's 'Winter' until that time... It's the toughest piece I have ever tried and I'm nervous even thinking about the moment when the orchestra leader's wand will be raised for me The orchestra leader we're working with is a monster musician - I am honestly scared of a guy that can hear a wrong note among 100 instruments but he is half classical/ half rocker so that's what actually makes him the perfect link between us and the orchestra. This guy is 32 years old and he is the orchestra leader of the Romanian Opera and already collaborated with the London Philharmonic...Pffff, you wouldn't ever think that he is such a guy he looks more like an athlete - all the ladies stare at his butt so we always make fun of that Well, enjoy and see you in the v-chat in about 2 hrs mates!
