Hello guys! This is the final mix and comments for this collaboration. Check it out!

K1R:
Hey man! Your solo has some great moments and I think that you recoded somethings very in the style of the backing! I like the Manson style bends that you play in different parts. There are some notes during the solo that make it a bit weird and disonant but I can’t say that those note are wrong because guys like John 5 would use it in a song like this one. Your timing and tecnique is good in this one. You tone could be a bit better. Try lowering treble and adding more mids, also try lowering the drive and adding a compresor or sustainer. Thanks for your take man!

Dreamforge:
Hi Dreamforge! The phrasing of your take is really nice, and combined to your warm tone and perfect playing make you take so cool! I like every like and every note that you have cosen. The evolution of the solo is also great. I particularly like te long note that you played in the first drum cut. It adds too muc more mistery to the feeling of the part. And the last sections remember me to the most Arabia stuff of the old Iron Maiden albums, and that’s great for me! Well done friend! Thanks for the take!

JamesT:
Hi James! You take is really good man! You sound and play like a professional! There are some rocker licks, some Arabic melodies and also some fast legatos alla Joe Satriani and everything is played with a very good feeling. Your timing is perfect as well as your tecnique. I'm particularly impressed of how smooth your fast legato sounds. Congrats and thanks for this awesome take!

I just noticed this final mix. Sounds pretty good. Great takes everyone! Thanks for the comments Gabriel. I was pretty happy with this take composition wise. I think that's how I'll have to approach my own solos... legato for the fast stuff, short slower AP licks, & cop someone elses great melody for the hook . biggrin.gif

definitely! but it would be cool if you don't approach all your own solos in the same way...
