Glidecam Simply glidecam is hand-held stabilizing system for your camera. You all know how the picture is sometimes shaky when you walk and try to recording video at the same time - well, this device minimizes that effect.. These devices can work well in stabilizing the footage. Downsides is that its a skill/sport on its own to use it properly! Also, its important to get a stabilizer that fits the camera weight otherwise its almost impossible to balance. The heavier the cam - the better. Copies of the famous Steady cam can also have problems like "rolling" motion where cam would just start spinning on its own inside the stabilizer, during the shooting due to motion. This can be really annoying as you end up shooting yourself -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net

Update :
Magic Lantern v 2.3 I test it for a month already, and can say that I am very satisfied with the performance that this unofficial update brings. I was very hesitant given that the camera can easily become a brick if you make a mistake during installation, plus Canon doesn't accept warranty in this case ( the creators of ML says that everything is at your own risk ), so that was a biggest doubt for me . So, given that I'm not normal often, I did it finally !! There are a plenty of new features which significantly facilitates the work, especially with video shooting, that your beloved DSLR becomes a powerful machine, almost in the range of 10x more expensive professional cameras ! Last insanity of this workshop is to shoot in RAW mode, which means that you can reach 4k density of picture, but you need to have really powerful enough memory card whit, let's say, 95MB/s writing speed. Still in beta phase but I'm sure that's they gonna find a stable solution for that ! LINk This post has been edited by Sinisa Cekic: Jun 3 2013, 10:12 PM |

Ok, here is (H)igh (D)ynamic ®ange video test.
QUOTE High-dynamic-range imaging (HDRI or HDR) is a set of methods used in imaging and photography to capture a greater dynamic range between the lightest and darkest areas of an image than current standard digital imaging methods or photographic methods. WikiThis technique has lately become very popular among video geeks, so I was curious how it will all appear in my example (720p)... HDR Test |
