Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Great take, Rhoads.. all bends in tune, good tone etc.. try and see if you can become a bit looser with it. Some places it feels tense, like at 0:17.. Blues needs to be laid back. It's hard to do it, I know, because these licks fall over the beat with no real exact timing.. but that relaxed synchronisation between your hands is what you're aiming for. cool.gif

Great take mate! You nailed the stuff very very well, and as Ben said, try to loose up a bit ...imagine you are a black man on the bayou biggrin.gif in the blues, you need to slack off a bit smile.gif

You vibrato is awesome! and your bends are also really good! the only thing that is a bit weak is your timing in some sections. Work on it and you'll play blues perfectly!

This sounds very very good, I like how you interpreted the licks. Vibrato is nice, and so is bending. In general, you need more dynamics in this take, blues playing is about dynamics, some notes are picked louder then others. Try to get into the groove more as well. Everything else is in place.
