The answer is, most probably, due the diaphragm & abdominal muscles trying to their job to keep you alive. I had a rib injury about 10 years ago playing beach volleyball. I dove for a shot (totally missed it of course...but the dive looked cool) & landed on my ribcage. After a few days of pain, I went to to Dr. & he said that we could take an x-ray but whether it was bruised or cracked, the remedy was going to be the same. And the remedy was ..."just give it time!" Not a great answer when it hurts so much to breathe. Not to mention the pain killers didn't kill much of the pain. Sure hope you feel better soon!

Wow, kinda seems like you have a "black cloud" hangin' over you recently. You might consider wearing one of these for a while. laugh.gif

Fortunately for me, I had no injury to my ribs, but I discovered one thing smile.gif when we are in a state of good health, we never truly appreciate it. We only do it when we're feeling sick, we hurt because of an injury or stuff like that. Try and remember that being healthy and feeling good is a wonderful thing wink.gif and take care of your ribs B-maestro biggrin.gif it seems you have a passion for danger!
