In 5 years i will be in my second year of music university.

I expect myself to be able to play more of the stuff i want to now (Extreme metal sorts, jazz fusion).
And i expect that my band will get our basist and clean vocalist and start play gigs. smile.gif

In 5 years, I'll be a well-rounded guitar player, able to play a variety of styles, accomplished in song writing with some solo skills I don't even dare dreaming about yet. Plus, I will have recorded some funny videos from my visits to GMC instructors, which will start next year! Yeah Ben, you can't hide...

Not sure, music business can be very unstable and working with other people can also be hard sometimes. It's definitely something that I don't have a clue.

Only thing I would want is to raise a family with enough money, and have enough time for them, while still doing music for a living. That would be ideal, so what will come up, not sure smile.gif

I see myself as a good guitar player in 5 years, that will definitely be the case. Will I make enough name for myself, we'll see smile.gif

i have a dream project!

the concept of it is not making people mosh and headbang. but associating music with images and moments or clips, making people "feeling" happy, sadness, despair, love etcetc, basically it's an art show, where people came to releash there feelings from their "everyday life" and inspiring them to move on/ and do something special with their lifes.

it's bit fancy i know tongue.gif and it's still very superficial, but it was something i would love to do.

I would like to be playing in a regular bar house band, even if it's just every couple of weeks. Not necessarily playing original songs, I'm just as happy playing covers that audience (even non-musical folks) can enjoy while they have a few beers. Something easy going.

Ibanez Prestige RG2550E [Carbon Fiber Plastics]

In 5 years...hmmm

Have European tours with Voodoo and Aria and 2 albums with each band biggrin.gif help bring together GMC's crew for a live collab somewhere in Europe! Perform with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the context of Mozart Rocks! become a more well rounded and mature player and have my own running production studio with the aid of which I get to spread the magic of nice made music as far as I can smile.gif and make a little acoustic album biggrin.gif

Too much? Hopefully not laugh.gif

Hmmm. Be teaching 100 Students at a shot in the VIDEO CHAT with two way video for everyone and a big touchscreen
so I can tap the vid and everyone can hear a given student play. Or tap several and everyone can hear two playing harmony/rythm. smile.gif

Also, be in the 5th Year of the GMC EUROPE SUMMER MEGA FEST were bands from all over the world jam with GMC REC STARS! And all the instructors of course! smile.gif

In 5 years time I will have a restraining order against Gitarrero and Qenzoz and live in a castle, surrounded by a moat with ducks. Occasionally, fellow GMC instructors will visit and then leave thinking 'never again.. he's crazy'. laugh.gif

The Baron Von Higgins they shall call you and the minstrells will sing your ode:

A moat with ducks his castle had
Von Higgins was his name
With donuts was his belly filled
And metal was his game!

He bended strings like no one else
And riffs he dwindled high and proud
Until one wretched day another came
With thoughts to steal his crown

The pots cranked high, the gain was loud
The shattering of steel!
But his opponent was unmatched
Von Higgins would soon kneel!

When end was nigh and no hope left
Von Higgins shouted out:
'Let's cut the crap and see the man who almost has my crown!'

The skies went dark and winds blew hard
A tremor shook Von Higgins whole
It was too cruel to bear the awful sight
When helm went off, eyes staring in his soul

'Oh me, Oh my! What trick is this
I'll fall into despair-oohh
Because you might have figured out
The man was...Gitarrero'

laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I had so much fun writing this biggrin.gif ahahahahahaaa
