There was another thread that was made - and I want to thank that individual, Sickz666, because that's how I found Paul Wardingham.
This is a follow up. Paul has released a second in-studio performance. Remember his first one? I know so many of you enjoyed his playing. It convinced me to buy his latest album, Assimilate Regenerate. He's going to release another album, The Human Affliction, in early of next year. I can't wait!!  |

Great playing and writing! And a killer example of getting quality recordings out of a fairly simple home setup. He has an imac and a couple of nice speakers and a pod xt and Bingo! He's using Logic and Pro Tools as his daw. LOGIC is the best reason out there to buy a Mac imho. But He could be using REAPER just as easily.
The power of modern software is astounding. Sure, real amps, real gear, especially at the high end, are hard to beat. But for home studios, low budgets, a computer, some software and the rest is up to the player! Here is a vid (ABOUT HALF WAY IN) he walks us through his setup.
