My other post about ray william johnson inspired me on this one, i'm a HUGE comedy fan, i try to see at least one decent comedy every week, it makes me existence better i think, it inspires me to get my mind out of the tragedy of living on this world.

Ok that was emo enough and this is a fun thread, so my question is, who's your favorite comedy actors and movies?

If i have to limit myself to one, it would be steve carell and the 40 years old virgin smile.gif

And on a TV series too, steve carell as michael scott biggrin.gif

My opinion is that Ben Stiller is this generation's Mel Brooks. I think Mel is the king of comedy. This is a difficult choice because I LOVE comedies. But if I had to pick one actor/movie to perhaps have to watch for a month straight, it would have to be Gene Wilder in Blazing Saddles.

Richard Pryor was one of the writers of Blazing Saddles along with Mel Brooks & one other writer. Richard also did another comedy with Gene Wilder called Silver Streak as well as a few other movies.
