Opeth - Ghost Reveries

Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime

My Dying Bride - Songs of Darkness, Words of Light

Megadeth - Cryptic Writings

Metallica - Ride the Lightning

Manowar - Fighting the World

Cradle of Filth - Midian

How about you ? Maybe we can discover some great new albums from each other cool.gif

There are few albums, that I listen to all the way through. But should I choose some older ones they are:

Ironmaiden - Brave new world

Cradle of filth - Damnation and a day

Embraced - Amorous Anathema

And maybe some Apocalyptica.

Single songs, that I will listen to over and over again would b:e
Pantera - Floods
Dimmu Borgir - Symozium, Progenies of the great apocalypse

This is a great playlist. You should put this together on yoututbe as it's own playlist! Just start to finish not a bad song in it.

A lot of Demon Hunter's albums - by favorite is probably The Triptych. They are about the only metal (lots of screaming) band I listen to. Red doesn't really scream that much - they aren't really metal either.

Ben this is a great thread, I would have replied sooner but time is slipping away.....

My Fav would be Dream Theater Metroplis Pt2 and Extreme, self titled and Pornograffiti album and 3 sides to every story....Extreme not REALLY metal but so close in the constant "pinning of styles" or "put this into a catergory" mind frame...... if you know what I mean

I would like this opportinity to share this amazing guitarist and album that I can't stop listening to....His name is Andy James and what makes me addicted is his note choice, phrasing, VIBRATO and melody... It's an Instrumental album...which, I think means alot, the guita r now has to be center stage adnd provide melody, backing, and "VOICE" to the tune to keep the listener interested....have a look....
