I was thinking on getting some gear i can record my ideas with. What do you recommend? My budget is quite low sadly.
I know many use a Line6 Pod XT, but that's way too expensive for me.

try m audio, they have a wide range of products and good prices, maybe the Fast track pro is good for you

It'll cost you at least $100 for a decent device (see above). I bought my Line 6 GX for that, simple and does the job.

You could try with M-Audio FastTrack, the newer model:



It's a very good unit for starting up. You have two channel interface here, you can connect instrument and microphone and record them in the same time on separate tracks. That's enough to get you started.
