Though I will always blame him for posting the nyan-nyan cat! And this piece (since Christmas is coming soon, according to the stuff they sell in the supermarket since the beginning of september):

Isn't it funny how this thread got from a pop music to a "What has Sollesness done to us?" thread? laugh.gif
May the winter fairy bless him wink.gif

Sollesnes, seriously. Like, a year ago I listened to no JPOP, none at all. Plenty of bands from japan, but thats it.

Now I am coming dangerously close to ordering several albums, instead of just listening on youtube, What Have You Done!?

Buy singles, so you get the karaoke versions with it. They are great backing tracks! Also some songs are really cool and heavy, like AKB48s Beginner, but it really shines out when you listen to the karaoke version. smile.gif

In my opinion Pop music - the house/ techno stuff which is very popular nowadays, doesn't mean bad music - it is melodic and easy to listen to. BUT if we would change the orchestrations, by adding heavily detuned and distorted guitars, groovy aggressive drumming and a serious vocalist, we would have tremendously good songs.

I would give you the best example - thank you Sol biggrin.gif
