Little Tutorial to Copy & Paste links to the GMC CHAT:

first you need this tiny tool -> AutoHotKey http://www.autohotkey.net/~Lexikos/AutoHot...y_L_Install.exe
it's an opensource project -> Software License: GNU General Public License

Run the AutoHotkey_L_Install.exe










Hit "Next" -> "Install" and after that "Finish" you won't need the DocFiles

Now you have to start the tool with admin rights (Windows Vista/7) -> It'll ask if you want to create the bla file - can't make a screenshot... Hit "Yes"

Then you have a little icon in your taskbar next to the clock "right click + choose Edit This Script"->


The file "AutoHotkey.ahk" appears opened in the Editor ->

Put the link.. "and never put the wrong link there ;P" in it, save the file (CTRL+S) or the usual way.


Icon in your taskbar next to the clock "right click + choose -> Reload This Script"-> every new url or copied what you would paste has to be "Reloaded"


Go into the GMC CHAT and klick into the writing field ->


Feel the magic by pressing CTRL+ALT+S

edit: it seems to be the only way because it works with "sendkeys" the test is typed by your "keyboard" for you wink.gif

There is also a tutorial on how to do it by altering one java file slightly, it's not hard to do it:

a) Locate your Java Security Policy file. This file is named java.policy and should be located in the lib/security folder of your Java installation. On Windows 7, the file may be found in C:\Program Files(x86)\Java\jre6\lib\security or C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\lib\security. In OSX, the file should be located in /Library/Java/Home/lib/security

cool.gif Copy this file to your home folder (e.g., C:\Users\Chris in Windows or /Users/chris in OS-X)

c) Rename the file to .java.policy (note the period at the beginning of the file name)

d) Edit the file using your favorite text editor. Locate the following line of text:Code: // "standard" properies that can be read by anyoneAdd the following line just below this line such that it reads:Code: // "standard" properies that can be read by anyone permission java.awt.AWTPermission "accessClipboard";e) Save the file.

f) Close any open browser windows and ensure that Java is not running before testing.
