Description from YouTube: Tweet: http://bit.ly/iphone4inSpace We launched 2 iPhone 4S phones with a weather balloon to go up to 100,000. We put one of the iPhone 4S's on an interval photo timer app and the other on video mode. We used s Spot GPS tracker (though I would not recommend it because it only tracks in 15 minutes increments. We will be posting a behind the scene video as well as a more in depth tutorial for those of you who want to do something similar. The FAA was also involved so no airplanes were hurt in the making. Music - Tribute to Steve Jobs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FpHD55P1uI Check out my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/thefinalcutking *Apple did not pay me to make this video or post it. Rather, I would like to consider this a tribute to Steve Jobs and his genius creativity that will be remembered forever. *Special thanks to OtterBox for the iPhone 4S cases. The iPhones survived. |

I saw this before (or a similar one). It's awesome to see the earth from that point.

This is a very cool project, I've seen one before, it wasn't the same, but it also had an iPhone featured in "the package" I believe, along side with some camera I think... great to see people are sending things into space like this
