We are going to create more own songs and its a good thing to get some tips on what we could have done better about this one

It sounds quite good man. Have you considered getting singer/frontmen into a band? It would upgrade the overall thing greatly.

hey man! first of all... congrats again for your first song. I think that the main idea is really good. The chord progression and the rhythm combined to that piano idea sound perfect.
One thing that I feel when I hear the song is that it could be a bit shorter, maybe you could check the structure and repetitions for this one or have it in mind for future songs.

I agree to Gabe and Ivan and to take Gabe's observations a step further, you guys could work on developing dynamics - the song sounds a bit too linear. A piece of music has to breathe and build up as it progresses, so focus a bit on that side. It'll make things much more interesting! All the best and keep rocking Isac!

hey man, great, i'm very glad you are writing songs, i think you need somehow (and obviously) need more experience doing them, but for a fist song is really good, i suggest you change a bit the guitars, you are two guitas there and most of the time both of you are playing the same, why is that?

i think you should be playing all the leads as well, the other guy has a nervios sound, or something like that, or maybe he needs more practice/experience smile.gif

keep it up man!

In addition to the above I would have nothing to add on that subject, perhaps the only visual setting- keyboard takes up too much space! Rotate it 90 or 45 degrees towards you wink.gif !

Big congrats! smile.gif The rythm player does look a bit like he is still getting his stage legs, but that comes with time. You seem to be having a great time which is great smile.gif If the band looks bored, the audience will get tired quick, so it's important everyone seem "into it". The drummer does a great job here. Good vocals too. Maybe put him out front and get another drummer? It's far easier to find another drummer than get a front man. Without the front man, the audience isn't sure where to look. The rythm player is more center stage than you are which isn't perfect given that he is still a bit shy. If the drummer is going to continue to sing, maybe pull him closer to the front. But honestly, getting him out front would make worlds of difference, or getting someone out front.

Also, the guys have a point with dynamics. A song should breathe a bit. Meaning, take it down in spots. If it's just full on distortion the whole time, the audience gets numb to it. Most good metal bands will have quieter/softer bits to make the loud bits stand out. Black Metal on the other hand, my go several songs in a row, or maybe an entire album, with zero dynamics. But outside Black Metal, it's hard to pull that off.

you guys also need a bass player in my opinion, i like the doors for example, they don't have a bass player, but ray is an incredible musician and he could play the basslines on the keyboard.
