Hey Guys, I wondered if any of you know (or use) any decent drum plugins that are free ?

I've got Cubase SE3 (2006) and the drum VST I use is very limited.. I don't even have floor toms or china cybals.. I'd really like to get something that sounds better so any advice or recommendations will be very appreciated. Thanks ! smile.gif

It's not free and IIRC it's not expandable but it's damn good for the price. http://www.audiomidi.com/Products/fxp_bfdeco_sno/

I don't know any free drum plugin. Maybe you could look for some samples on the web and then use a sampler to use them. You could create your own drum kit.

Yeah, perhaps finding drum samples would be a good option, it's hard to find the ones that are free. I know Toontrack is giving some promotions here and there, it may be a good idea to subscribe to theirs newsletter, I get some cool offers all the time, for example EZD can be given at 50% price at some months etc.

The BFD ECO is just amazing. It actually is more flexible, hand has better samples than my EZDrummer with Drums From Hell Expansion pack and it cost only a fraction. About $30 U.S. Unbeatable.

Yup. For $30 you just can't beat it! I"ve looked and it's impossible smile.gif I think the sale is still running. multiple fx on each channel, bus mix fx, tweakable, midi beats, full mixer, various kits, just astounding. I was a BIG fan of EZ Drummer/Drums From Hell until BFD ECO showed up and WOW.
