Hey guys! Since I finished the shooting for my first official gear review - the PRS Mike Mushok SE baritone, I was curious to know how you guys feel about gear reviews! What makes a good review for you? What would you like it to bring to you and what would really convince you to go at your local instrument dealer and try out the presented model? smile.gif

Do you have any examples of reviews which you particularly like?

I find reviews very helpful when I'm trying to decide what to buy. I enjoy reviews that are sincere and that describe the good and the bad things of the gear. I also like when the gear is compared to others that are similar.

Not sure, but I always found PGS tutorials great, specially the ones on guitars, although I agree with Gab, it would be great to hear both pros and cons, with some comparisons if possible. This gives it more objectivity.

I love to read user reviews, it seems to me that they are much more honest and more detailed than manicured factory adds smile.gif
Harmony central user review is good starting point ,e.g.

yes, I remember using questions from Harmony Central for reviewing, they offer nice set of questions, that should be answered when doing a review (not all, i.e. the "what would you do if stolen" question is a bit corny smile.gif )

Since there was no PRS Mike Mushok video review aside from the one below, I thought I could go for one, which would take the axe through more styles than low tuned modern metal smile.gif I hope it'll bring out the desired results tongue.gif

Here are two reviews I've done for GMC a while back. I believe the review I did on the Valveking was the better review, but it was also the second one I did, so I did have a little practice tongue.gif

I think you have to have many references, there is no perfect review because devices/instruments can be so relative to different people
