(8.3 Pass) Cookin Country Licks, Lesson By Mitch Roberts |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Excellent tone, and good attack - very nicely fingerpicked! The major problem in this take is the timing, it's very shaky, so try to be spot on with the drums. They are in half time feel, so this may probe tricky, but try counting in double feel to keep it straight and maintain flow. Also, although tone is great, try even out the dynamics so all the notes get equal picking strength.

Great tone and playing! I'm not sure whether you have a problem with the timing, or perhaps a microphone from the camera captures backing track too late !?

Good playing man! I agree with Ivan about the timing as the only thing to fix on this take. Pay attention to the rhythm and keep on the good job.
