Hi, finally I recorded a lesson, but sadly, the video quality is less than average.
Does somebody have a good recommendations for a cam? I don´t know if Webcams can do the job proberly, my budget is ~ 150-200 € (about 180 - 250$)

Do they have Walmarts there? Anyway, there should be many cameras available at a store with electronics. You can get a great camera, maybe not HD resolution, for $100 or more. Sometimes less. I don't know of any recommendations. It depends on what you are going for. I am actually planning to get an HD camera some day myself.

There are many guys here using the Logitech - Webcam Pro 9000 for the REC and it works great. I use it for the video chat sessions.

Good call smile.gif For the money it's just hard to beat the quality of the Pro 9000. It shoots very high res and since your computer is doing all the work, it's a very inexpensive way to capture images. It's a great place to start. As with other gear, you'll eventually outgrow it and start looking at other things/solutions, and there are various forum threads for that too smile.gif

I am currently using a Microsoft Lifecam but I think I'll give the Logitech 9000 a go, just to see if I can get better quality for my v-chat sessions!

For that much money it's hard to get a good quality HD cam. I would recommend that you save some 400e, and get a proper HD cam when the time comes. You can find lots of different cameras and camcorders today that have the "HD" sticker on them, but the resolution will be always interpolated. Smaller chip res will be stretched out to a bigger frame.

Like the guys said, Logitech webcams are very good for the price. I'm using cheap entry-level model C270, it's around 30$, and it's quite enough for any video chat or recording the video in 720p. With some additional lights around you, you can pull out very satisfactory quality.

The problem with webcams (that are really high quality) is that if you don't have a fast computer then boooo sad.gif But hey if your computer is fast enough then awesome!
