> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: German Power Metal I: Helloween by Gabriel Leopardi

The sound quality of this is very poor. Lol, you can hear me wailing on the strings better than you can hear the amp.

Very good playing, you nailed the part down. The last part, you have some problems, you can't play it in full speed, so some problems happen, occasional errors here and there. Other then that, quite good. 8 from me! smile.gif

Hey man! As Ivan said, the take is very good but timing is a general issue which has to be taken care of wink.gif A little bit more practice and patience can get things done! Keep up the good work!

I think your timing is really good, and that's the point of this lesson imo

I would say the palm muting should be a bit more muted as it still sounds open

Slow down tempo a bit, and in a few days of exercise you will be able to play it perfectly wink.gif !
