What would you choose, if someone offers only one of these precious items? biggrin.gif

Both cost 4000$ and you can create/choose any computer you want, or choose any guitar you want for the price wink.gif

Guitar. Hands down. I don't think there should be any competition between the two. Especially on GMC laugh.gif

+1. No contest here, don't use the computer for much so it's a no brainer.

Computer. I need a faster computer for music and video production. It would be nice to have a Mac.

I'll take the guitar please! I may have to change an occasional string, but at least I won't get a virus or have to de-fragment it, and don't have to worry about burning out the graphics card either. tongue.gif

It depends on what you need. I have a comp and need a guitar. It would be great to have Guthrie's Antique model. I so need to try a maple neck and that guitar just looks awesome. Its a 3500 price tag I think. If you have a guitar, then get a computer. smile.gif

Guitar! 10 years from now, the guitar will be worth double and the computer will be way less than half.

Computer !! It doesn't matter what guitar I have, I need to have a computer capable of music production.. and the thought of having a comp that could handle recording and both video editing would be too tempting ! smile.gif

Probably the guitar. With advancing technology, computers tend to need upgrading by the time you get them home from the store. I would sell the guitar (and hopefully get the full $4000). Then, I would buy a nice computer for around $1000. When my playing got better to the point I could justify a better guitar, I would spend $1000 on that. Then, I would pay off my truck with the other $2000.It would be a win-win situation for me!

Very few people really have a need for such an overpriced high performance computer (graphic designers and such). A high quality custom guitar wouldbe the thing the GMC users benefit most of!
