Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey, this was a strong take smile.gif

Good timing and articulation here.. the only criticism I can give is that when you do vibrato, you're pulling the string out of tune. It's quite a common thing to do so don't worry..

Treat vibrato like a series of string bends, but played continously after each other. When you release a bend it goes to it's original starting pitch. Vibrato is the same.. try to make sure you bend the note back and forth but allow it to come back to the original pitch or it will sound 'sharp' - too high.

Cool cool.gif

It's a good take man! Two things that I would like to say about this one. First, your guitar is a bit out of tuning. And secondly, your vibrato needs some work. It's not natural, and sometime you change the pitch of the note that you are playing because you do a micro-bend and then start with the vibrato. Work on it and you'll have a perfect take. Cheers friend!

Ben said it nicely for the vibrato and I agree. You need to work more on this technique now as you are progressing on single note videos. Try Ben's Vibrato Odyssey Series on how to tackle vibrato. This is as important technique as any else, and it's the next in line for you. Everything else was great, timing and tone, really good.
